You will need:
- large cardboard
boxes
- an exacto
knife
- crayons, water-based
markers, paints, etc.
- assorted ‘things’
to attach for buttons, dials, indicators
What to do:
- cut lids off
boxes using exacto knife (ADULT ONLY PLEASE)
- encourage
children to decorate boxes to become their space ships
- help attach
margarine lids for dials, draw on fuel gauges, etc.
- help children
dramatize space flight through pictures, posters, stories of space
