What to do:
- using contrasting
colors of paint, children use straws to create pitted meteors and asteroids.
How to do it:
- stir mixture in
a shallow dish (ie. small sour cream or margarine container)
- blow into mixture
with a straw planted firmly onto the base of the dish
- generate bubbles
so that they overflow the container and begin to spill out
- trap bubbles by
laying paper over dish or scoop bubbles onto paper in a heap
- proceed to ‘paint
the stack of bubbles using a small paint brush with another color of bubble
paint by lightly touching the stack of bubbles to create an interesting
effect
- dry flat
