any books on safety-related issues, ie. books on firemen, books on policemen, books on personal safety, etc. |
Displays: |
set up displays of signs, ie. ‘bones’, etc. show toys that can cause accidents, ie. roller skates, toy bow and arrow, make a display of what the number ‘911’ will get you, etc. |
Posters: |
any posters put out by the fire, police, doctor, or other related organizations to help drive home the idea of safety |
Videos: |
any safety oriented films, videos, ie. boating, fire prevention, block parent safety, etc. |
Speakers/ Trips: |
police stations, fire stations, St. John’s Ambulance, Red Cross, paramedics, hospitals, safety school, lifeguards, etc. |
