What to do:
- using beehive-shaped papers, yellow, orange
and brown paint, children use straws to create the inside of a beehive with
all the little pockets typically seen inside.
How to do it:
- stir mixture in
a shallow dish (ie. small sour cream or margarine container)
- blow into mixture
with a straw planted firmly onto the base of the dish
- generate bubbles
so that they overflow the container and begin to spill out
- trap bubbles by
laying paper over dish or scoop bubbles onto paper in a heap
- proceed to ‘paint
the stack of bubbles with a small paint brush and another color of bubble
paint to create an interesting effect
- dry flat
