What to do:
encourage children
to memorize the items in Santa's sleigh
3 and 4 year
olds need only have 4 or 5 items
5 and up could
probably handle up to 10 items
when children
are satisfied that they have memorized all items, tell children to
turn around and not to peek
remove one item
from the box or sleigh, and hide it
then children
turn back and try to identify which item is missing
As
the children become more proficient at the game, try letting them be the leader
and whoever guesses which item is missing becomes the new leader and so on.
