You will need:
- four large-sized
cut-outs of recognisable vegetables (i.e.
a carrot, an onion, a cabbage, a pod of peas)
- masking tape
- a large playspace
with 4 walls to run to and touch
What to do:
- familiarise
children with each vegetable and it's picture
- tape one picture
to each wall
- children sit
in middle of room and when the leader calls out a certain vegetable
children run to appropriate wall
- try to catch
them out by calling (i.e.
"carrot" twice in a row)
