You will need:
- a pine or spruce cone
for each child
- white glue
- scraps of coloured paper
of felt
- children's scissors
- a small piece of playdough
or plasticine for each child
What to do:
- get children to flatten
their playdough in the palm of their hands
- turn the pine cone
upside down and push it into the playdough to make owl stand up
- cut out eyes, ears
(although their ears are really hidden) and a beak from scrap
paper
- glue onto owl's body
- clean up
