TEMPERA POWDER PAINT	TEMPERA LIQUID PAINT
2/3 paint powder	Use paint straight from the bottle.
1/3 water	Shake well. If paint is too thick,
1/8 to ¼ liquid starch	add a little water.
(i.e. Glide) to make paint stay in print formation

How to do it:

• place paint in deep dish aluminium foil pans
• use assorted Autumn treasures, or cut shapes from foam at least 2" thick
• dip items or foam shapes in paint and gently press to print on paper (some people like to attach clothes pins to the sponge parts to keep fingers clean)

Variation:

• pre-cut out shapes from thick cardboard, potatoes, styrofoam and dip and print
• glue (white glue works best - just let dry) cardboard shapes to old thread spools for younger children for easier manipulation
